The Ever-Victorious Marquis

Fame and fortune vanish like smoke and clouds. I seek only defeat, so I can lay down the realm. Writing a blurb is a real killer. All right, here's the story: A powerful, arrogant marquis (the guy's a bit cold, maybe?) gets pounced on and devoured by a dark-hearted, scheming fake military slave, a fox-hearted beast in the guise of a loyal dog who knows how to put on an act (and this guy also has a bit of a sadistic streak). Since these two start off with a huge difference in status, the story takes things step by step. Also, this is my first attempt at writing multiple couples. I don't know if I can pull it off or if they'll take over the story... Warning section: 1. In this world full of land mines, I don't even know whether my story counts as one. If it happens to set one off for anyone, please be understanding, dear readers. Kindly click the X in the upper-right corner (that means please don't hit me). 2. This is a chaotic story, all over the place, with characters acting like hotshots. 3. Like my other stories, this one is a slow burn and drags on. 4. Please don't ask me too early whether they love each other (preferably, don't ask at all). Here's why: 5. This story has a non-con vibe. Recommended stories: My first story. It's pretty forceful and rough, but click if you don't mind: Completed story, my personal favorite: Completed story: The story hasn't been changed, you know how it is, so I won't explain further. Also, my wedding is coming up and I'm getting ready to have a baby, so please bear with me. Here's my author page. Please support me: .
