[Naruto] A Song Sung in Vain

Hello author, I am the commentator Jiancao. When I first saw that the CP of this article was Zuo Ying and Ning Chu, I was really happy, because in the context of original fan fiction all over the world, original fan fiction is so rare. However, what surprised me even more was that the article unexpectedly constructed a very grand background, in which in addition to the literary nature of a novel, politics, history, philosophy and even religion are all involved. After reading the entire article, you can deeply feel the author's knowledge, profound thinking and mature writing skills. I have to say that this novel is really a rare and good one. Good novels have many things in common, such as solid writing, clear logic, a complete story structure, and natural and obvious beginnings and transitions. However, achieving these does not mean that an article is excellent. In my opinion, in addition to the above necessary conditions, an excellent novel must also meet one of the following two conditions: either the story itself (such as character setting, specific plot settings, etc.) Is outstanding and attractive enough; or the content of the story contains special meaning (such as reflecting social reality, reflecting the author's thinking on a certain aspect, making people feel enlightened or inspired after reading, etc.). The author's article is obviously admirable in terms of "special significance". Below, the reviewer Jiancao will talk about it in detail from both the textual perspective and the content perspective. Text angle First of all, the author's writing style is very good. When the description should be detailed, it is delicate and vivid. When it is time to omit abbreviations, it will never be sloppy. In terms of the use of words, there is no phenomenon of "poor words" in many "little white articles". Secondly, the author has a very unique way of characterization. For ordinary novels, the protagonist's name is often mentioned at the beginning of the article, but in this article, the protagonist's name appears very late, and even the name of the heroine Haruno Sakura is not mentioned until the end of the article. In fact, this kind of writing can easily cause confusion for readers, and people will have a sense of confusion when they read it later and ask, "Who is this? Why did it suddenly appear?" However, the author's writing skills are very profound, and he depicts each character's character traits, such as Haruno Sakura's insistence on ideals, Sasuke's ruthless entanglement, etc., Which will make people immediately like a certain character when they see it. The name is the code, and the unique personality is the foundation of the character. The author did this very well! Furthermore, in terms of story narration, the author mixes narration and interjection very well, and does not make people feel that time is messed up. Tips: 1. The names of people in some places can be made clear Example: She looked at her a little funny, took out the old, roughly framed book from her hand, and stared at it intently. Although it can be known from the context that the first "she" refers to Haruno Sakura, and the second and third "she" refer to Ino, it is easy to get confused if you don't look closely. 2. The connection between the quotation and the main line of the story can be strengthened Example: Galatians says: "Do not be deceived, God will not be mocked. Whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. Whoever sows to please the flesh will reap from the flesh, corruption; whoever sows to please the Spirit will reap from the Spirit eternal life."... No one has truly seen the Lord's vineyard. Many times words have no meaning and neither does the Holy Spirit... These two paragraphs quote a lot of things, and generally they are content that readers are not familiar with, because they are somewhat difficult to understand. If there is no appropriate transition and interpretation, it will make people feel confused and ask "What is the meaning of this paragraph?", Which will also directly lead to deviations in the understanding of the article. Overall, the author's writing is perfect. Of course, different people may have different opinions, but I like it very much~ Content perspective Compared with the writing style and character description, I think what attracts me most about this article is the depth of the content. Actually, I am quite weird about embarrassing things. Reading the first three chapters of the article, whether it is cute or not, is a characteristic of the current Internet writing. However, I don't care at all. It doesn't matter whether it is slow to start or the whole article is deep and devoid of cuteness. As long as I can learn something from it, that's my thing. To sum up, the content of the article uses a lot of "oppositional" elements, and the degree of opposition can be described as "extreme." Even though the writing uses very plain words and narrative methods, it gives readers a "turbulent" feeling. At the same time, in the process of constant conflict, these elements promote the development of the story, perfect the characters, and reveal the main theme of the article - "in vain". Opposition element 1: political/system aspect - imperial system vs democracy This opposing element is actually the main theme of the background framework of the entire article, which directly leads to the struggle between the two different factions and all subsequent tragedies. Throughout history, every country has experienced the conflict between these two opposing elements, and it goes without saying who will win in the end. So after reading this article, I feel that even if Sasuke defends his kingship, so what, it will be just a dream in vain after a hundred years or so. Ps: This topic is too sensitive so I'll stop here... Opposition element 2: Factional aspect - Defenders VS Reform/Reformists Opposition Element 3: Belief - Responsibility VS Ideal Since these two aspects are closely related, they are mentioned together. The defending faction is Sasuke and Neji, while the representative of the other side is Haruno Sakura, and of course Naruto and others. Such factional opposition directly leads to opposition in their beliefs. Sasuke may be out of family responsibility, perhaps driven by revenge, or perhaps because of the glory brought to him by the royal power. The path he chose to stick to is to defend the existing royal power. Haruno Sakura, on the other hand, chose to fight for the future of freedom, equality, and democracy in her heart, even if she shed blood. Personally, I feel that this description of Haruno Sakura's party's insistence on "the indestructibility of ideals" impressed me the most. And this paragraph is also a highlight on the theme of "in vain" - the beautiful vision of "Utopia" is far more important than their lives and love, even if their strength is like moths to a flame; hope is pure and beautiful, but far away from reality. Maybe such a "Utopia" will be realized in the future, but now it can only be left with regret. Opposite Element 4: Love - Pure Love VS Compromised Love To sum up with a sentence from the article, it is "The occurrence of love is like a small death." In the story, Haruno Sakura and Sasuke had pure love for each other at the beginning; but in the ending, rather than not being in love, it was better to say that they developed into a state that is opposite to pure love - compromised love. As the author writes at the end, this kind of love compromises each other's beliefs, dignity, and death. However, the more you compromise, the harder it is to let go. Maybe that's how it was. In the end, the two hurt each other and kept hurting themselves, just like Sasuke felt that Haruno Sakura never loved him and he never loved her - self-comfort escape. In the same way, Neji and Hinata should have similar emotional entanglements. So, the love goes deep, but it is in vain. These four main conflicts form the bulk of the story and also set the tone of the article. Jiancao is a little short of words. There is a metaphor. The tone of this story is very similar to the song "The Kill", which is extreme, desperate, screaming, lonely, and silent. Of course, during the narrative process, the author used "cherry tomatoes" as a metaphor for love, and used a large number of original biblical texts to highlight the entanglement of various opposites, which is very clever and unconventional. Tips: Rather than saying this as a suggestion, let's just treat it as my personal thoughts. First of all, I would like to apologize to the author. Due to my lack of personal knowledge, I did not understand many of the references to the Bible. So if there is anything wrong with what I said above, please correct me. And for me personally, after reading the article, it reminded me of a lot of things taught in political science classes and foreign literature classes. For example, Augustine's "City of God", such as Mill's "On Liberty", I feel that many of the thoughts in it have the same origin as the thoughts in the author's articles. In addition, I personally have very little exposure to the Bible, or to Western literature in general (I still prefer oriental literature like Japan). However, in the foreign literature class I took, the teacher loved the Bible and spent half the semester teaching about the Bible. At that time, I felt that every sentence he read was full of happiness. He said that you may see many cruel sentences in the Bible, but after reading them countless times, you will find that they are not leading people to hell, but a kind of warm salvation. The teacher always reads at the beginning of each class: "God said, let there be light, and there was light." The author should know the Bible very well. What I say may be a bit of a trick. However, I still look forward to seeing a warm style that is different from this article, the kind of warmth that allows people to see the light. Okay, this was originally meant to be a short review, but I love this article so much that a short review is not enough to express my love! Also, it seems that the above comment is very serious... Actually, it is true that Jiancao is not serious! The author, please hug me!! [Jiuge Changpingpu&]
