Fallen from Heaven

One day, birds will take to the sky, just as fish will one day sink back into the sea.

But is that really how it is?

One brief glance sealed their fates for a lifetime. The bird gave up the boundless sky, and the fish gave up the endless ocean.

When they look back on those distant years long afterward, will those fleeting moments of tenderness still remain in their minds?

Schemes, war, slaughter, and struggles for power. In the most chaotic of times, only the Song of the Winged Ones still sings silently. Sacred flowers bloom from bloodstained earth. The merfolk's island slowly rises from the ocean depths, while the merfolk sound the call to war below the waves.

A young fledgling tumbles from its nest and races toward an unknown future. An icy blue tail fin sways in the air, stirring a wave of panic. An eagle descends from the sky, bringing the scent of blood; a whale bursts from the sea to defy the sky.

With my headphones in, I was lost in this bizarre, hazy dream.
