The Wind Stirred the Leaves Along the Corridor at Night

Blurb:

Tao Shixu has been a good girl, cherished by her parents since childhood. She falls in love with a classmate, and thinks the sweetness of first love will mark the beginning of a beautiful youth. But how could she have known that, all of a sudden, that person would become her brother?

In a single night, her mother takes her own life, and Tao Shixu is sent to prison. Her life is utterly destroyed in that moment. With her future shrouded in uncertainty, is there any warmth left for her in this world?

From then on, will her life hold anything besides hatred? Is there any room for love?

If marriage is bound to end in betrayal, and love is always destined to end, then what was the point of getting together in the first place?

Please don't assume this is just a tearjerker. It's based on a true story. I've forgotten where I first came across it, but it was many years ago, and many parts of it are even more heartbreaking and frustrating than what An wrote. An just wants to put down this story from long ago. There's no other reason. I just want everyone to know that in so many families where someone has an affair, the children are the ones who suffer most.

Notice: Dear readers, I'm very sorry, but this story will become a paid novel starting tomorrow. An knows this isn't ideal, but I have to make a living, so... this is the only choice I have. I hope you can understand. The story will get even more exciting from here on, and I hope you'll continue supporting An after it becomes paid. Thank you. *Bows deeply.*

An's new story, about a woman with an advanced case of princess syndrome and the lunatic pursuing her:
