[Saint Seiya] The Rose's Blessing

Fallen blossoms drift away in the wind, turning countless longings and sorrows to soil, silent as the years roll on;

Youth fades away with you, turning countless memories of a turbulent age to dust, vanishing as time and space turn;

I don't know how long it's been since those petals danced in the wind, yet the sound of falling blossoms still lingers in my heart;

Petal by petal, they drift gently down the pale mountains of the Sanctuary, stamping tiny spots of blood-red onto its earth.

Asphodel faces Luco's threat and tenderly wraps a cloak around Pefko. The concern on his face gives way to a relieved smile as he speaks.

"Thank goodness, Pefko. My blood didn't splash on you, did it?"

Maybe I've gone mad. I love him beyond all hope of saving me. In that instant, Asphodel seemed more precious than the whole world.

I knew that if I didn't write something about him, I'd be tormented by my own feelings, so much so that every day would become painful...

I hope I can use my clumsy writing to create a gift for him, one that lets him be happy for a little while, at least in my story.
