Beneath the Korean sky, you, a foreigner, fell in love with me, another foreigner. You, a man, fell in love with me, another man. Is this a mismatch, or a fall from grace? I once thought that anywhere you were would be my paradise, but I wanted to become your paradise. Beneath the Korean sky, we lived in a paradise we had made for each other. But they say paradise is easy to lose.
This story is a memorial to the life I once dreamed of and was infatuated with. It is filled with beautiful, youthful, pure love, and hopes for the future. The characters have traces of real people in them, but even more than that, they bear the impressions those people left on my heart. In truth, they have little to do with the real people themselves.
The story is entirely fictional. What I mainly want to explore is whether love can exist when people can't even afford the necessities of life.
The people in this story love their dreams and are astonishingly talented, yet they can only sing in bars to make ends meet. During their long, dark preparation, they support each other, but on the eve of success, they part in sorrow. The people in this story have nothing of their own, yet they love someone else passionately. Can their love succeed when one person struggles to hold on alone?
"If you believe in love, you can have it. Always believe in what you love, because everything will be rewarded in the end." This is Yin Zhengxi's way of life. In love, he gives himself completely, then waits for the other person to accept him or trample him. You can call him foolish, but he believes he is happy. Giving love is the road to happiness. Receiving love is the fulfillment that follows.
Believe in love. It can't hurt.
There are so many angles of view... It's a bit dizzy...
