Peach blossoms bloom in all their glory,
Their petals radiant and bright.
In the season when peach blossoms fill the air,
They part for a short while, leaving only loneliness behind.
As beautiful as she is, as clever as she is,
She still lets true love slip through her fingers.
She walks to the music of a song, breathtakingly beautiful, captivating all around her.
But he cannot take her love into his hands.
Only his heart remains, lingering in the past,
Slowly growing desolate.
Better to forget each other than to cling together through hardship.
But he no longer has the strength to step into this world again.
A hair's breadth apart, yet worlds away; worlds away, yet a hair's breadth apart.
A solitary star was written in his fate from the start.
Though he wields power over all beneath heaven,
Though she is as beautiful as a flower,
Once they have missed each other, they can hardly meet again.
The goddess emerges from the peach grove, unmatched in beauty beneath heaven.
In life, she is cherished by all, yet in the end, she is accompanied only by a solitary star.
