No amount of grieving could bring you back; no number of offerings could express what the heart had to say. The ospreys flew back into the Book of Songs. On lofty Zhaoling Mausoleum stands Huang Taiji's eternal grief. Fair maiden, can you understand the weight of a nation? Such a noble man, we would gladly go seek him on the river islet. Free his steps, imprisoned for a thousand years, and help him cross this river of history. The kingdom has changed, but your heart remains the same. Shall we close the book on those old tales of Shengjing? So many fair maidens in these lovely new stories are willing to wait for you. -------------This is a passage I absolutely adore. I hope... that part of history was beautiful. Some people don't like Hailanzhu... But I hope Huang Taiji can have a happy ending. Zhezhe was too dignified, Xiaozhuang too forceful, and Namuzhong's schemes can't be ignored...
