Bu Yao
Buyao was introduced to China from West Asia during the Western Han Dynasty. It was introduced to western Liaoning via Yan during the Eastern Han Dynasty, and then spread eastward to Goryeo, the Korean Peninsula and Japan, where it had a profound impact on local culture.
The headdress made of gold, silver, jade and other materials has been popular since the Song and Ming Dynasties.
Its shape and texture are symbols of rank and status. After the Han Dynasty, Bu Yao was gradually seen by the common people and had the opportunity to be widely spread in society. Among aristocratic women, a step-shaking crown was also practiced. Wearing it on the head makes it feel more wealthy and luxurious than shaking it.
Generally, they are in the form of phoenixes, butterflies, or those with wings, or with cascades or pendants hanging down. When walking, the gold ornaments will move with the swing of walking, making it lifelike. If you take it, it will waver when you walk, hence the name.
This is a short story I wrote many years ago. Today, when I was fourteen, I suddenly remembered it and burst into tears. I don't know if it was because of my secret love for Fourteen or because of the golden hairpin in his arms that I knew about many years ago. . .
