Beneath the Deep Blue

All life originates in water, and in the end, all life returns to water. After the apocalypse, the surviving humans faced an Earth transformed beyond recognition. The arrival of the Fourth Ice Age meant that the land could no longer support human life, so the ocean became the survivors' final refuge. Then they encountered the undisputed rulers of the vast ocean: merfolk. As humanity's once-glorious history was gradually buried by time, merfolk became Earth's new overlords. When merfolk-like people and the Second Generation completely replaced land-dwelling humans, the old era came to an end, and the Deep Blue Era began a new chapter. This story takes place in that endless deep blue. I'm taking a break from stockpiling chapters. I'll update another story that already has chapters ready first. Hiding my face, I'm sorry, my update speed is just too terrible... TuT
