[Hunter X Hunter] A World of Flowers

Foxes love eating little white rabbits, but even rabbits bite back when pushed too far! A foolish rabbit who fell for a blue-eyed fox went right to the beast to be raised. The fox swallowed her without hesitation, licked his whiskers, wagged his tail, and walked away... The fox roamed the world wearing a spider's skin, hunting all kinds of little white rabbits along the way, eager to feast... Gulp! Not bad, not bad. What a tender little rabbit~ Gulp, another bite! Good, good. This rabbit is tender too, but... Gulp, gulp. This rabbit looks familiar? And tastes familiar, too~ The rabbit flew into a rage: You damn fox, you ate me three times and still won't own up to it! I'll skin you alive! Gulp! At last, the rabbit ate the skinned fox... (I can't write blurbs, so this went off the rails. If anything is confusing, that's perfectly normal.) I wrote this for the character Hisoka. I've been looking for stories about him, but there aren't many good ones, and a lot of them are abandoned... Frustrated, I decided to start this one. Note: I actually came up with this story back in 2009, and the first few chapters were written back then, too. Looking at it now, the plot really is quite clichéd and melodramatic, and the writing drags a little. It's also a bit different from my current style. But I can't quite bring myself to scrap everything and start over, and I don't know where to begin revising... So if you don't mind melodrama, please bear with it for now! This is basically a melodramatic romance wearing a fanfiction disguise. Readers looking for something profound and sophisticated, please move along... Please don't throw bricks at me. I'm a fragile little snowflake, and we simply don't see eye to eye~ Please keep an open mind! The heroine here is quite different from the tough heroines in my other stories. She's rather difficult, and reading about her might frustrate you, so proceed with caution! P.S. I originally planned to have Sakura transmigrate into the story and pair up with Hisoka after I finished my previous Naruto fanfiction. But I've changed my mind here, though I'm keeping the idea of Sakura transmigrating... If this story is so melodramatic that nobody reads it, or I get so fed up that I can't keep writing, I'll abandon it and write Sakura's story instead o(╯□╰)o~ So please don't hit me, those of you who came over especially from [Naruto] Shikamaru's Deerly Beloved! P.S. 2: There are two women who transmigrate in this story. I've been really into group transmigration lately, but only the kind where they help each other. I would never make the supporting characters look bad just to make the heroine shine... I just think struggling alone in another world would be terribly lonely.
