A short story about a human and a demon swapping bodies, each getting what they want.
My CP said I wasn’t taking this seriously, so I’ve revised it.
A short story from the Zhongshan Has Jade series.
The story of the younger brother, Liugui.
Legend has it that two brothers live on Zhongshan.
The elder brother was formed from jade, while the younger brother was formed from water that gathered within the jade.
And then... after living together for a long time, the brothers turned their lives into one long bout of adolescent angst.
One dreams of becoming human every day, while the other wants to die.
This is the story of the younger brother, who wanted to die but didn’t manage it.
I have several drafts in progress for the Zhongshan Has Jade series. I’ve been writing and revising it for years.
Actually, the series title probably gives you a good idea of where my pen name came from.
But this Zhongshan isn’t that Zhongshan, and it has nothing to do with a certain famous, hotheaded TV host.
The name comes from the Chinese literary magazine Zhongshan, and the character for jade comes from one of the characters in my old name.
Theme:
You must be the laziest, most upright, lazy, most upright, and depressing person I have ever seen...
Not bad. . . It just ended too quickly...
It has a beginning and an end. Although it is very short, it is very beautiful. I like HAPPY ENGING.
Internal monologue is fun
It's quite interesting, uh, short article.
