Steal Half a Day of Leisure from This Life

All day, I toss and turn amid broken dreams,

Then suddenly hear spring has passed, and force myself up the mountain.

Passing through a bamboo courtyard, I stop to chat with a monk,

And steal half a day of leisure from this fleeting life.
