Another Lily was bound to create another Snape. So, with Lily gone, what kind of person will another Severus become, and how will he face life and the future? This Severus looks a lot like the original. Just as selfish and unreasonable, just as emotionally detached and expressionless, just as unkempt, greasy-haired, and big-nosed, just as caught between good and evil, just as devoted to that green light, just as quietly watching over a child's growth, and just as hopelessly in love, like a fool... The only difference is that he has loved. Though it was passionate and soul-consuming, he understands what true love is. Because of that love, he is willing to spend his whole life waiting and believing that she can still return. What would it be like to see the Chosen One, Harry, grow up through the eyes of Professor Snape, so similar to the original and yet utterly different? Oh, one more thing: they are father and son, actually. The structure may be a little confusing for now. Although the main storyline follows Harry from childhood through the events of the original story, as the story progresses over in Another Lily, related side stories will be posted, so for the time being, posts will be marked "Past," "Present," or "Future."
