The Weaver of Men

An expanded short story based on a joke: A big guy with a strong, intimidating build is actually shy and introverted, and not very good at expressing himself. Whenever he feels stifled or hates himself, he hides in his room and sews... One day, a coworker from the company dormitory accidentally catches him at it. In a panic, he tosses aside his cross-stitch. "Th-this, this is my sister's. She forgot to take it with her. I-I-I'm just helping her thread the needle..." The coworker gives him a wicked smile and says nothing. After that, the coworker deliberately shows up every few days with socks full of holes, pants with broken zippers, and shirts missing buttons, sighing sadly right in front of him. The big guy, who can't stand seeing clothes with so much as a flaw, always tentatively asks, "How about I fix that for you?" The coworker sits beside him, looking satisfied as he watches him carefully sew everything back together. Their relationship gradually becomes rather complicated. The big guy thinks his coworker is a good person for not minding his girly hobby. Sometimes, when he's in a good mood, he even secretly embroiders a little flower on the inside hem of his coworker's shirt. Every now and then, the coworker tosses him a plush toy, saying he won it in a supermarket raffle. The big guy hesitantly accepts it, looking like he loves it but is too embarrassed to say so. Then one day, the coworker pins the big guy down on a pile of colorful felt. As he roughly thrusts into the big guy's waist, he grabs the hand the man has clapped over his own mouth and says, "Big guy, your hands are beautiful. The first time I saw you holding a needle, I wanted to suck on them so badly."
