Light in the Apocalypse

At first, I thought the 2012 end-of-the-world theory was nothing more than a joke.

But when the day truly arrived, many people could not accept it, and their lives came to an end.

An unknown virus was ruthlessly claiming human lives.

Hours later, the dead came “back to life” and attacked everyone still alive.

It was all like a nightmare from which no one could wake.

Murder, death, devouring, exploitation, betrayal: the dark side of human nature, once hidden away, was magnified and twisted without limit.

More terrifying than the virus, and more unpredictable and changeable than ghosts and spirits, was the human heart.

Yet there were still people, stubborn to the point of obsession, who guarded a tiny corner within their hearts and waited for someone to return.

This is a biopocalyptic novel. Its setting and world largely draw on films, television series, and anime of the same genre, with some changes and alterations made to those foundations. It is an original story wearing the guise of fan fiction.
