This is a sweet military romance. Please note that this story is set in an alternate history: it has a setting similar to the modern era, with a fresh yet nostalgic feel, and takes place in a fictional age of war and turmoil. The heroine sets out on her military career with the dream and conviction of defending her country and winning honor. In this story, new recruits do not need to undergo a physical examination. They only need an enlistment notice with proof of identity. Some of the ranks are fictional, too, and differ from reality, so please keep this in mind, readers! Don't step into any danger zones.
