[The Count of Monte Cristo] Twilight Falls

The Count of Monte Cristo + Twilight

In the despair of his prison cell, a mysterious seal is broken.

A monstrous legend escapes its blood-soaked hell,

reaching out to him with open arms as their pact is sealed.

Bloody Mary, whose life is nourished by the blood of hatred

The vampire curse, carrying eternal immortality through each full moon

Undying vampires, a pact of vengeance, and truths that are lies

When a vengeful count meets an evil vampire,

how can love begin?

My noble count, will you go to hell with me?

Notes:

1. Female lead: vampire, Xia Luolin V Cullen; male lead: originally human, a count; supporting characters: Carlisle Cullen and Aro Volturi.

2. Xia Luolin once appeared as Bloody Mary. The meaning of the letter V in her surname will be explained gradually in the story. You can still enjoy this even if you don't know the Bloody Mary legend (I looked it up for you under Chapter One). If you haven't read The Count of Monte Cristo, click here for a synopsis.

3. The Count of Monte Cristo is the main inspiration. I like the Volturi family from Twilight, but this has next to nothing to do with Edward. I hardly like any of Twilight's main characters, so no explanation needed. Also, Heidi might turn evil, and Mercedes might meet a grisly fate. Don't hit me, that's just my nasty nature.

4. Some details are still being worked out, and my memory isn't great, so I may have to refer to the original as I write. The major details won't change, but some minor ones may differ from the original. I'll try to stick close to it, fingers crossed.

5. As for updates, I'll try to post daily. And if the stats are bad, I will absolutely abandon the story. No explanation. I'm just that unreliable about finishing my stories.

The blurb seems kind of random, but whatever, I'm too lazy to change it.

↓ I made this cover myself. The one above was made by a girl at Sleeve Cover Studio. Maybe I'll try switching them around sometime. Haha.
