Main couple: Wu Song and Chunmei.
Wu Song is upright, meticulous, and openhearted. Chunmei is proud, self-respecting, and clever.
They are close in age, well matched in looks, and compatible in personality. In the story, Wu Song's respect for Chunmei grows into love, and Chunmei feels the same way about him.
Side couple: Pan Jinlian and Ximen Qing.
Pan Jinlian is beautiful, wanton, and cruel; Ximen Qing is handsome, amorous, and heartless.
These two are well suited to each other, too. In this story, Jinlian grows to hate Ximen Qing because her love and desire go unfulfilled, and vows to ruin his family.
I'll try to keep the characters true to their originals. However, Chunmei won't be as wanton as she is in the original.
2. A blend of The Golden Lotus and Water Margin. No transmigration, no rebirth.

I read the first chapter first, and then jumped directly to the last chapter. I found that although the first chapter has more intersection with Water Margin, the last chapter is all original, but it is obviously more original and has more Water Margin flavor. The more I write, the better~ I will read it in order.
