[The Hobbit] The Sword of Iluvatar

A sword that can never be cast aside, a legend worthy of being recorded in history. The half-elf, who could not join his brother in choosing the fate of humankind, met the other half of his soul. Misunderstandings and missed chances kept them apart for a thousand years. Thranduil had yet to understand love when he was able to love. Elrond understood love, but bore a cruel fate. They met and came to know each other three thousand years ago. Three thousand years later, they fell in love and pledged themselves to each other. In the everlasting land of Middle-earth, beneath a grand epic, a beautiful love sings. The sword of Eru. All who are of darkness dare not touch its blade. All who wield it will see their souls diminished. Pairing: Thranduil x Elrond. There probably won't be any other pairings. This story starts with the relief force sent to Eregion and may continue through The Lord of the Rings. Unless something goes wrong, it should have a happy ending. Starting a new story, please support me I've saved up a new fanfic. The pairing is still TE, but this one is lighthearted. Feel free to bookmark it if you're interested. Please note: I read the books of The Lord of the Rings trilogy several years ago, and recently finished watching The Hobbit trilogy. My information comes from Baidu and Wikipedia. I'll check details from other fanfics against those sources, and avoid anything I can't verify, but exceptions happen, so some details may be inaccurate. For the sake of the plot, I may make minor changes to the timeline and include my own headcanon. Lore buffs are welcome to discuss and offer suggestions, but please don't flame me. This story is purely born of my love for the Lord, but the project is too huge. I'm such an overthinker that I spent three days researching just for chapter one, so I can't promise regular updates or that I'll finish it. Feel free to... #TE is so niche I have to feed myself scraps, how sad# #So much text, someone save my blurb_(:з"∠)_# Theme:
