Since ancient times, the lands of the world have been ruled over by the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise, each governing one of the four directions.
Three thousand years ago, the Azure Dragon clan suddenly found its path to divinity and left the mortal world, earning the title of gods.
The other three clans divided up all the lands that had belonged to the Azure Dragon clan. Some members of the Azure Dragon clan were dissatisfied and fought them in a bloody battle.
In the end, the Heavenly Emperor stripped these clan members of their divine status and exiled them to the mortal world.
