The prince was cold and aloof.
The empress and his two elder brothers tried to frame him, but he killed them instead.
The prince was consequently stripped of his title and demoted to commoner.
Without his princely status, the emperor treated him simply as his own child.
He enjoyed talking with him and loved everything about him.
Before he knew it,
like had become love.
"First, a friendship across generations; second, a same-sex romance; third, a forbidden love."
"Your love is the most vicious curse in this world."
↓ Spoilers below
Since so many readers were troubled by the bad ending, I added two follow-up stories.
The author doesn't know if this still counts as a bad ending. Zixu won't come back to life, but spending their whole lives together in happiness isn't the only kind of happy ending.
The follow-up is called "Acceptance."
Though death has parted them, their love is eternal.
Theme:
Forehead. Is this the end? No more extras? I always feel a little helpless and not very comfortable...
Um, so that little prince is the reincarnation of Zixu? But this ending is not bad. One forgets the past and lives happily, while the other lives in longing... They are both very smart, but very paranoid, alas...
Who is that man in white? I think it's unlikely to be Zixu, but is it possible that he can be resurrected? Great, looking forward to your update...
Yeah! Father and son story? I'm very curious about how the emperor fell in love with the indifferent fourth prince, haha~
This article is quite interesting. I read less than half of it, and when I reached the best ending, I saw that it was BE, and I didn't want to read it at all... Why is it BE? I would like to ask for a sequel to HE. . . Tears running~~o(>_<)o ~~
It's well written, but the ending is BE
Read it in one sitting...
It was well written, but the plot was a bit speechless.
(Actually, it's not meant in a derogatory sense. It feels like reading a detective novel. The plot development and characters are completely unpredictable.)
Or is it that the characters of the protagonists are completely impossible to infer using common sense? ?
