You Were Born Before I Was

Bai Jier, who transmigrated into a world of wuxia, has two great wishes in life: First, to win the heart of a handsome, dashing, charming, gentle and refined hero. Second, to live an incredibly carefree life, tending a farm in the world of wuxia. Her first wish is utterly dashed when a "middle-aged man" dressed in white takes her to Wangzuo Peak on Mount Kunlun. Her second wish... Since she's already on Wangzuo Peak, Mount Kunlun, what farm is there to tend? Actually, this is a simple story about a scheming big bad wolf raising an incredibly lazy, guileless little white rabbit. The older man is very crafty, and the fake little girl may bare her claws, but she's pretty vicious too. Once she's been whisked away by the older man, there's no chance of her turning the tables! Yueying's thoughts: Let the plot be whatever! If I transmigrated and still followed the original story, Yueying would have nothing to write about! The original characters all have strong personalities. [Shrugs.] I'm not going to deliberately make anyone look bad, and there's nothing to criticize anyway. As always, this follows Yueying's usual writing style: just a lighthearted little story connected to wuxia, with a happy ending. The main characters' personalities come from the original work, blended with my own views and some of their portrayals in adaptations. They're a little idealized~ As for the relationship between Yang Xiao and Ji Xiaofu, Yueying really likes Sun Xing's version of the story. It's so romantic. But the Yang Xiao here is the one from the original work. If you're confused by his characterization at the beginning, go back and read what Ji Xiaofu says about him in the original.
