Mulan in the Misty Rain of Peking (The Story of a Noble Family + The Story of Peking)

Snow has always loved Mulan from A House of Flying Daggers. Born into a family of scholars during the Republican era, she was beautiful, pure, independent, brave, resilient, and kind. Gentle on the outside but strong within, she was talented and knew how to manage a household. But when it came to love, she wasn’t brave enough to love and hate freely, unable to break free from the shackles of feudal society. She and the man she loved, Kong Lif, were never meant to be. When it came to Zeng Sunya and Cao Lihua, she mostly chose to compromise. Snow thinks that Zeng Sunya, who was spoiled and irresponsible, spent all day pursuing emotional independence, thought the Zeng family was holding him back but couldn’t leave them, couldn’t support himself, and even brought Cao Lihua into the Zeng family, was unworthy of Mulan. So now that Mulan has changed, and the soul living in her body belongs to an archaeology student from the 21st century, Zeng Sunya and Cao Lihua will be nothing but clouds on the horizon. For the sake of the plot, this story includes elements from The Story of a Noble Family. You could call it a combination of two novels. As for the timeline, just imagine that The Story of a Noble Family takes place earlier. If you like it, please support Snow! P.S. This story was written on a whim, so the timeline and other details may differ from the original. History buffs, please go easy on me. Thanks to Yipie for the cover. It’s beautiful, and Snow loves it. Theme:
