They were my first favorites when I entered the danmei fandom, and I've always had deep feelings for this pairing.
Alas, my writing isn't strong enough to capture the depth and weight a historical fanfic deserves.
I once heard a girl say, "The bond between Ce and Yu goes beyond love. It should be built on an ideal for life."
It's hard not to love a pairing like that.

After all, both of their fates were tragic.
