Zeyu is a third-year university student. His parents divorced and each started a new family. His once cheerful, joking personality has grown quiet and withdrawn, and he has few friends. So he looks for a place to live off campus and happens upon Lin Ying's notice seeking a roommate. Though puzzled, he moves in without hesitation.
Lin Ying is single and manages a small company. Sensitive and neurotic, she often acts on sudden whims that lead to unexpected situations. Sometimes she is idle, sometimes busy. Little is known about her family background. Unable to bear the loneliness of living by herself, she looks for a "playmate." When she notices the similarities in Zeyu's personality, she happily welcomes him into her home.
