I actually intended to write a Shui Xinyue fanfic based on Master Yi Baishou's "The Young Master Doesn't Guess." When I saw that Shui Xinyue was "good at everything from music and chess to calligraphy and painting," yet ended up without any kind of conclusion, I felt indignant. I thought about it for a long time, then started writing. Halfway through, I went to check the original characters' names and suddenly realized, huh? It wasn't Lou Xinyue, it was Shui Xinyue. Huh? It wasn't an herbalist's shop, it was a silk shop. So I got stuck wondering whether this could still count as fanfiction. But my original goal was to give Shui Xinyue a happy ending. So I decided not to change the names and to keep the plot in line with the original. Therefore, as far as this story goes, I'll still call it a Shui Xinyue fanfic based on Master Yi Baishou's "The Young Master Doesn't Guess."
I know Master Yi Baishou has a lot of fans. Since I sincerely admire Master Yi, too, please go easy on the criticism. Well, if Master Yi Baishou thinks I've infringed on copyright or anything, just let me know and I'll take the story down.

In fact, this is not bad. It reminds me of the recently popular "Snowflake and the Secret Fan", which is very touching! ! !
