A Beauty for a Thousand Autumns

Life is like a dream, like dew, like a flash of lightning, changing in an instant across a thousand autumns and ten thousand years.

A beauty is like a flower, a pearl, a treasure, her face like the moon, her complexion like a spring blossom.

Whether or not they ever met, it seems the ending was set from the very beginning.

Ye Bai's life was actually pretty dull. He grew up in the mountains, and the only males he knew were his older brother and his nephew.

Then his brother died, and Ye Bai came out to take his place. That's when some guy named Jiang Yixiao started clinging to him for dear life.

Later, he met Li Xiu, and that was the end of his boring life.

It was the beginning of a life so eventful it made him wish he were dead.

What did I ever do to you? Why won't you leave me alone? I just... I just... want to live!

Li Xiu had done pretty much everything a king was supposed to do in his life, but he still had one regret: he hadn't found anyone he liked.

What did he like? Someone good-looking would do.

The commander of the army certainly lives up to the title of the most beautiful person under heaven, doesn't he?

Some people write for others to read, and some write for themselves. Right now, I can only write for myself, so I may not update, or may update very little, for an entire semester. But since I'm writing for myself, I won't abandon the story. I hope you'll understand.
