"What do you think women are good for, as far as men are concerned?" he asked with a beaming smile.

"Without a second thought, I replied, "Sex."

His face darkened a little. "Uh... Right. What else?"

I counted them off on my fingers. "Doing the laundry, cooking, cleaning the house, making life more fun, and carrying on the family line." Then I looked up at him.

He paused for a long while before laughing. "Don't look at me like that."
