The Tang Dynasty's Lingering Affection (Complete)

[Original title: The Tang Dynasty's Most Beautiful Woman]

At thirteen, she first met him above a lotus pond.

She was beautiful and graceful, with an elegant bearing. Born to noble blood, she shone like a jewel, her beauty unmatched in the world, and her mind was as clever as could be.

He had a sun-bright countenance and the bearing of a dragon and phoenix. His dignified elegance was like a jade tree in the breeze, and his mastery of both letters and arms won the praise of all.

If she had not been the daughter of Emperor Yang of Sui, and he had not been Li Shimin, perhaps their meeting would have been like golden wind and jade dew: one encounter, worth more than countless moments in this world.

Do not laugh at the lovesick heart beneath the imperial robes.

All that matters is that, in that moment, I met you; all that matters is that, in that moment, I shared your love.

With neither regret nor resentment, just the way young people are.

A Yang Guifei story.

This is a fanciful tale based on unofficial history. All events are entirely fictional.
