Kingid: Kisame Hoshigaki has made his glorious exit in the Naruto storyline, sacrificing himself. Though we don't know what happens afterward, he was probably torn apart by sharks, so I doubt he'll be reincarnating. When Kingid saw Kisame's last words before he died ("Itachi, it seems I'm a bad person, and a thoroughly bad one at that." Then he was torn apart by the sharks he'd summoned. P.S. Samehada was heartbroken, too.), it really hurt (though I also thought Kisame's death in the jaws of all those sharks was incredibly cool). And so this story was born: the "heartbreaking" history of Kisame Hoshigaki.

Kingid really likes Kisame as a character. His shark-face grin is so imposing, and Kingid also loves sharks. That inspired Kingid to boldly try writing a transmigration story for the first time (transmigrating as the cool Kisame "Shuyu"), and to write in first person for the first time, too.
