[Digimon Adventure] Our Scenery

At first, you simply stood there in silence. You looked forlorn and lonely, because you thought you were all alone. But when did it begin? Everything changed. The world you lived in, once entirely empty, had gradually filled up without your noticing. You opened your eyes and woke from your dream. Renamon stood on a tree branch, watching you lie beneath the tree. In the clearing not far away, your friends bustled about, packing up their things. The oldest boy looked exasperated, while the short child repaired a computer as if no one else were there... Only the girls were focused on their own tasks. Watching them, you couldn't help smiling. Quietly, where no one could see. With two boys and a girl leading the way, when had it happened? You hadn't noticed that your friends had gathered in front of you. Someone complained about you slacking off, while someone else held a tiny bug in their palm and excitedly showed it to you. The girl at the front smiled and held out her hand: [Ruki, it's time to go.] You froze for a moment. Someone took your outstretched hand and pulled you to your feet. At last, you realized that your world had long since become more than just an empty place with no one but you.
