The handsome young man wore a mocking smile. With a gun in his left hand, he gripped Lelouch's collar with his right and pressed the muzzle to his temple. "Lelouch Lamperouge, I'm only going to ask this stupid question once. Did you ever love me?"
When they first met, the boy had peeked from behind a tree at another boy reading beneath it. A breeze ruffled the pages, and the boy gently pressed them down with his long fingers. His smile was warm and tender. One smile was all it took for the boy to fall into the trap called Lelouch Lamperouge, follow him, and eventually meet his destruction.
"Let's make a deal! I'll trade my feelings for your protection." You want the world to be happy and beautiful. I'll be your shield and sword, protecting you all the way. I can forgive any use you make of me, until body and soul are both broken.
Even knowing it was a trap, the boy threw himself into the battle without hesitation. His physical wounds were only an outlet for the grief he could no longer suppress. Lelouch Lamperouge, if you don't love me, why give me hope? Can't you even keep up the lie?
The Grim Reaper came, and the boy dragged his broken body back to stand before him once more. Blood flowed down the wheel of fate. "Lelouch Lamperouge, at last, you can be free!"
It was the Grim Reaper's cruel joke. When the shield and sword reborn from hell stood before the boy once more, the pistol in his left hand pressed to the boy's forehead without hesitation. "Lelouch Lamperouge, my purpose is to destroy everything you have!"
Lelouch Lamperouge, go to hell with the regret I gave you!
