Reborn!: Fragments

In the past, in the present, and in the future, I will follow you wherever you go. But sadly, all that can stay by your side is a mere fragment. If only everything could start over, if only the future could be changed. Wing was Reborn's childhood friend, and once his first lover. She said she loved Reborn so much she'd be willing to die for him, but the world's number-one hitman didn't take her seriously. So, on the day the Arcobaleno were born, Wing fulfilled her promise with her life. Several decades later, in Namimori, Japan. A mysterious girl who looked exactly like Wing as a child appeared out of nowhere. She called herself Tsubasa Irie. She said she was Shoichi Irie's cousin. She said she was a transfer student from overseas. But she refused to admit that she had once been Wing. What happened in the gaps between time? It was a secret that weathered away along with the fragments of memory. This story is related to Bad Habits (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!), but you can read this one without having read Bad Habits, so don't worry. I'm really sorry this isn't a gag-filled, snarky story like the original Reborn... Oh well, I'm just not good at writing comedy. So what? This is a serious Reborn story with a touch of literary flair. If that's not your thing, don't read it. Theme:
