The Mustard Seed Calamity

Buddha says: Every blossom is a memory from a former life,

Every mustard seed contains a world.

A flower blooms with roots: that is affection.

A flower falls without roots: that is love.

Every affection and love is bound by fate,

Every cycle of rebirth is tangled in its own knots.

With a heart and deep affection, there is suffering.

With a dead heart and faded love, there is suffering.

O mustard seed, tell me: how can I not love?
