Just to Show Off My Refined Taste
I read all sorts. Some have a male top, some a male bottom. At least two of these three must be good: prose, narrative structure, and setting.
BL Court Politics
The ruler-and-minister pairing
Historical Fiction
Any orientation, just ones I’ve read and thought were good
Feel-Good Historical Derivative Fiction
I’m really into historical fiction and its spin-offs, haha. There are also one or two original infrastructure-building novels mixed in. (P.S. If you have the same taste as me, please recommend something in the comments. I’m starving for new reads.)
Books I've Fully Purchased
Just my personal taste.
Locked
I’ve gathered up the locked works from my favorites list too. Maybe they’ll be unlocked someday.
Historical Fiction I've Read
I was really into historical RPF and history-related stories for a while, so I put this list together.
Historical Fanfiction, Nation-Building, and the Imperial Exams
As the title says, all genders and perspectives are welcome. I'll gradually add more stories about the imperial examinations.
Historical Fiction
For personal use.
Great Completed Reads
Novels I like, including romance, danmei, and no-CP
Historical Court Intrigue
Historical court fiction
Male-Protagonist Stories
For readers who like male protagonists. These are more plot-focused, and you can filter for danmei or male-female romance.

Full-Text Subscriptions from 2019
The books I didn't skip chapters to read were all published before 2019, so some of them feel a little amateurish in style now. If you save this list, could you leave a comment? Thanks
Bottom-Centric
Two equally powerful leads
Historical Fiction Derivatives
History-related.
100 Completed Stories, Batch A
Finished reading
Welcome to the Childhood Era of Chinese Danmei Web Novels
Ancient danmei novels published on Jinjiang before 2012. No personal ratings for these older works; this list is for exploration only. I couldn't give them five stars, so they're all rated four.
Completed Novels 1
Books I expect to finish
Imperial Examinations
Good stories I've read.
The Ones I Love
Mid-Autumn Festival task. I think this one's good.
Historical-Inspired BL, Some BG, and No-Pairing Novels
Historical stories, including Han dynasty transmigration, Wei, Jin, and the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and Qin dynasty transmigration, among others. (Keeping these here for myself to reread when I'm in a reading slump.) The Hairpin and the Throne and Meng Xi Shi's The World are both great, highly recommend. JJ took them down.
Bookshelf Cleanup 3 (Danmei Novels 2)
Organizing my bookshelf for personal use, please ignore
A Bit of Everything
Simply put, these are good stories that kept me reading every chapter as they came out, with as few skips as possible.
