Immortal Sword IV: Xuan Zi | Return

A thousand miles of clear autumn stretch across Chu's skies; the river flows to meet the horizon, endless in its autumn hues. From afar, the distant peaks offer sorrow and resentment, their jade hairpins and coiled hair rising into the sky. On a tower at sunset, amid the cries of a lone migrating goose, stands a wanderer from Jiangnan. I have looked at my Wu hook and pounded the railing again and again, yet no one understands my longing as I gaze into the distance. Do not say that perch is worth slicing and eating. The west wind is rising: has Ji Ying returned yet? Building estates and buying land: surely I would be ashamed to meet Liu Lang, so full of talent. Alas, the years slip by; I worry through storms and rain, and even the trees have grown old! Who can summon a woman in red and green sleeves to wipe away a hero's tears? A Sword of the Immortal 4 fanfic, Xuan Xiao x Murong Ziying, set in an imaginary ancient world. This story is actually a follow-up to the one I wrote two years ago, "Pounded the Railing Again and Again"... After writing that one, I planned to write a story from Uncle Xiao's point of view. I even came up with a title and wrote a little opening of about two hundred words, but then I kept putting it off until I just deleted it. ╮(╯_╰)╭ A while ago, I suddenly remembered it and quickly filled in the plot. I spent the whole day trying to remember the title I'd thought of back then. Well, in the end, I changed it to a new one anyway. orz Click here to go to "Pounded the Railing Again and Again" Theme:
