A Gentleman Has Feelings

It all began with a photograph taken at a party.

Whose scheme was it, and whose fateful connection?

She is a reporter who meets celebrities, but has no interest in fame.

To her, life has been a struggle ever since the moment she was born.

Perhaps dying when her time is up would not be such a bad choice.

Yet in the midst of a staged scene, why did he let her cling to the last remnants of her life, all because of his selfish kindness?

Does he know that, after trying so hard, all she wants is to die with her dignity intact?

This story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance is... truly fictional.
