Variations on Genesis / Crime Scene Investigation Files IV: Zhang Zili / Xu Fei X Jiang Zishan

I recently rewatched Forensic Heroes IV and realized that my memories from my loli days really weren't reliable. Even from an objective point of view, Jiang Zishan really could win Xu Fei over with gentleness (as the synopsis puts it). Whenever Xu Fei lost his temper over matters of principle or Qianqian, Miss Wu couldn't handle him (partly because of her sensitive position), but Jiang Zishan could calm him down with just a few words... The two of them also have tons of scenes together: working cases, coming and going together, chatting, killing time, drinking, and so on. They're soulmates, no doubt about it! And then there's Gu Zai, playing the brother-obsessed character in At the Threshold of an Era, who ruins his whole life to avenge his brother. That makes him the wildcard in a friendship as gentle as warm water... And that's how this story came about. OTZ Warning: Die-hard Bi Ji fans, stay away!
