A Manchu Tale: The Niohuru Clan

[Monthly subscription story] The author's first novel, written during an angsty teenage phase and published in 2011. Many chapters have been heavily cut, so the story may not flow smoothly. [A few words] This was my first attempt at writing a novel. Honestly, anything is better than being alive. The real-life inspiration for the younger aunt in the story passed away from illness several years ago. As I type these words, I picture her chasing after me, trying to hit me, after I made fun of her in the bonus chapter at the end of this novel by having her transmigrate onto a pile of poop. Only her youth is immortal. I hope she really can transmigrate and live happily in another time and place we know nothing about. [Blurb] A standard all-purpose heroine's naive Qing dynasty transmigration story. Ziyu dreams every day of transmigrating to the Qing dynasty 300 years ago, making a fortune like a female Li Ka-shing, and maybe even dating the Fourth Prince. When heaven really drops a huge opportunity into her lap, she realizes... she only wanted to fantasize about transmigrating. She never meant to actually do it. She can't bear to leave her mom and dad... or the stories she follows on Jinjiang... or her younger aunt... If only she hadn't kept whining about wanting to transmigrate. Too bad there's no cure for regret, and poor Ziyu begins her cliched transmigration life. [Reader's Guide] 1. This isn't a historical novel, so don't nitpick the history. Everything is set up to serve the plot. 2. A cliched, all-purpose heroine and a naive story. 3. The story is full of exclamation marks, and the heroine is also written as an angsty teenager. Theme: My first completed novel
