Ten years later, Gai Shi'ai runs into Chu Tiange in City C. The latter has become a highly sought-after, award-winning music producer. Looking at each other from different heights, they seem to see one another more clearly and thoroughly. When they try to rekindle their old friendship, they discover that something just isn't quite the same. Perhaps some things, invisible and intangible, have already been subtly changed by time.

The story takes place after Love and Romance, the sequel in the I Am Crazy for Music series.
