A Devout Faith

Once, I believed. Once, we made promises.

All I got in return was a single "I'm sorry."

One morning, I woke from a dream, and it shattered.

Whose fault was it? Whose dream was it?

Searching and searching, it felt like a lifetime had passed.

All just to find the heart's final place to call home.
