Xiu Chongwen was born into a family of scholars and dreamed of saving his country. He first went to Oxford, hoping to save China through science. But when the war against Japan broke out, he resolutely abandoned his studies and returned home to join the Whampoa Military Academy, beginning a life full of twists and turns, yet magnificent all the same. Sisters Lin Shuhuan and Lin Daisy were daughters of a wealthy businessman and family friends of the Xiu family. Daisy had been engaged to Chongwen from an early age, but for various reasons, her father broke off the engagement. Daisy was powerless to resist and could only marry another man with a bitter heart. Shuhuan, however, had a distinctive personality. Admiring Chongwen for years, she broke with her family and pursued an education on her own. With the help of her eldest brother and Chongwen, she studied at Tsinghua, growing ever more independent and strong.
Chongwen and Shuhuan eventually fell in love. But when the war against Japan began, both Chongwen and Shuhuan's eldest brother, Panzhi, enlisted...
Seventy years later, the ideals Chongwen and Panzhi once fought for have finally come true. China is no longer a country that can be bullied by powerful neighbors. But the two men who gave everything to make it so are long gone. Even Chongwen's son died with a bitter heart after suffering a gross injustice in those turbulent times. In the 21st century, Shuhuan is still alive. Having endured all the joys and sorrows on her own, she has lived to see the world as it is today. She has also raised two remarkable children: Xiuchen, whose temperament is much like Chongwen's, a leading young cardiac surgeon who is easygoing and open-minded, yet exceptionally talented and sensitive; and Yuan Qing, a special forces commander, meticulous and affectionate at heart.

I used up a big pack of paper towels, but what's even more embarrassing is... The pit, when will it be filled up?
Oh, it's so beautiful and well-written. I don't know which secret nerve in my heart has been touched. I always feel that I have a lot of emotions. I really like the characters in 6P's big pen, such as Yin Liting, Zhou Ming, Xiu Chongwen... Alas, there is still hope for the unfinished work, and the finished article is even more depressing, and the meaning is still unfinished.
Is this a trap? Is it gone now? ?
6P, yy is so fanciful, I need to notify you in advance to prepare facial tissues.
Xiaoxiaochong - Lin Xiu's hometown was initially said to be Wuchang and behind it Changsha...
Finally some signs of bloodshed, great
Thanks to classmate Mao Zhuo for supervising, encouraging, and even watching on demand. Haha, it's only with you that we can see such a wonderful story.
Different time and space are intertwined, how can I see it without chaos at all? 6P is really strong
To be continued…?
