Top-Dom-leaning Romance and No-Romance Stories: Detailed List
Gong-focused stories (gong-led and shou-led), romance (male-oriented), and no-couple stories with male protagonists. The list above has my dealbreakers, and the comments have what I love.

Great Stories I Read in 2026 (Including Rereads)
After picking through so many, I realized there are quite a few good stories.
CP Sister's Personal Picks (Ongoing)
Most are told from the bottom's perspective. There are both top-leaning and bottom-leaning balanced portrayals, all within what I personally enjoy.

Books Worth Reading Again and Again
Historical romance, fantasy, infinite flow, boys' love, modern romance… My tastes are all over the place, and there's a bit of everything. My reviews aren't great, but these books are all really good!
Primarily BL
Personal collection
Crime Investigation
Crime investigation, detective, mystery, and case-solving stories
Crime Investigation and Mystery Fiction
These are crime and suspense novels I personally love. The plots unfold logically, the protagonists are smart, and the characters’ sexual orientations vary.
Old and Obscure Stories
These are mostly older, obscure stories with some pretty weird kinks. There are stories with tops, bottoms, and switches.
A Gathering Place for Morbid Kinks
Unhinged, self-destructive, sickly, battle-worn, BDSM, nonhumans, and chaotic stories. I have eclectic tastes and enjoy all kinds of perspectives. Free stories get five stars, no exceptions.
Books You Can Read Without Switching Your Brain Off
A collector’s edition of political intrigue, suspense, mysteries, and puzzles
Five-Star Reads [Not Derivative]
Some great stories I gave five stars to only because five is the highest rating on Jinjiang! (Four stars only because there are already so many five-star reviews.)
Crime Investigation
Crime investigation stories I've read many times

Completed Masterpieces with High Ratings
Very subjective. All kinds of genres, original works and fanfiction, a chaotic mix of everything.
Welcome to the Childhood Era of Chinese Danmei Web Novels
Ancient danmei novels published on Jinjiang before 2012. No personal ratings for these older works; this list is for exploration only. I couldn't give them five stars, so they're all rated four.
Mutual Top, Strong Couple Recommendations
I like stories with strong tension, fairly equal relationships, and two equally powerful leads who are well matched in bed. Keeping a record here. I'll mention it when the relationship content is controversial. For some I really don't remember, so check the comments.

How should I put it? I wasn't used to it at first, but then I fell in love with this strange and cold writing style.
A comment from a reader in 2026: [Glasses] I really feel that Cheng Jin has a natural sense of tolerance and acceptance towards Simi. That is, he doesn't seem to think that there is anything to be afraid of when Simi does these dangerous things. This makes me feel that it is so awesome. Fighting each other is the best way to fight [crying] [crying] [crying]
Come back for the second time. As a psychology expert, Simi should know how to greet people who are easy to see but not see him, so now Simi will start to create a persona in front of Cheng Jin [shy]
"Everywhere is disappointing." Every time I see Cheng Jin's words, I feel a strong sense of sadness and powerlessness, both in the text and in reality.
It was such a fateful first encounter. Now when I look at this conversation between the two of them, it always feels a bit dreamy🥺
He said to Simi, no one can betray you, including me. Does that mean: anyone can leave me, except you?
Watching this kiss 10 years later is still as exciting as it was back then www Oh my lost youth
Ye Lai and Bu Huan look like siblings! In my impression, it seems that only Bu Huan's age has not been clearly stated. He only said that he looks 26/27 but may be younger. I hope he is 23 (.) The noisy special case team family: the (relatively speaking) stable eldest brother and eldest sister Han He Ye, the noisy second brother Bu and the smart younger brother You He An, and finally the reliable and caring dad (?) Cheng and the all-around sweetheart plug-in (?) Yang
It was so emotional to see them showing their loyalty (?) To Cheng Jinbiao. It felt like the story had just begun, and the connection between everyone began to gradually deepen. In the end, they were no longer just members but family members.
Looking at it again, it seems that Simi asked them to come over to celebrate his birthday together. The purpose is to bring Cheng Jin closer to the team members (?) After all, they will work together in the future.
