Generation Kill/Inception Crossover: Was It a Dream
Fandoms: Generation Kill & Inception
Characters/Pairings: Brad/Nate, Arthur/Eames, Ray, Cobb, Ariadne
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 42,026 (English)
Disclaimer: Aside from the Generation Kill DVDs, I own nothing related to the original works. No copyright infringement intended.
Summary: Back home, Cobb and his team should have had all charges against them dropped, but instead they are forced to work for the government, extracting information from the minds of high-priority targets. The Middle East and terrorism, however, are not their areas of expertise, so they'll have to find some outside help.
A/N: You don't really need to have seen Generation Kill to understand this story, though it would help. But if you haven't seen Inception, I don't recommend reading on, because the whole story might seem utterly ridiculous.

Go right ahead, sweetie. I'm fine with you translating it.
Translators: Lorein & Colleen
Tip: If the language in this story feels a little strange, there's no need to guess: it's the translator's fault. Since I translated the first chapter, that means it's all my fault. TAT
My skills are limited, so misunderstandings, awkward word choices, and possible creative liberties should be expected.

[Seems like I saw this on SY, but I really can't find the original post anymore. Orz. (That's what happens when you spend all your time in the Generation Kill fandom.) If the author GN sees this, feel free to leave a comment and claim ownership. Not sure why, but that sentence sounds so stirring. Aah, I've really read too much English-language fanfiction. All rights belong to the wonderful original author. I'm only sharing this so people who haven't seen Inception can see what one of the pairings in this story (far left * far right) looks like. I feel this picture captures the three characters really well: the flirtatious one > the miserable one > the meticulous, slightly arrogant one. For the Brad/Nate pairing, visit my column and click the translation When It's Time. The blurb and first chapter have pictures of the pairing.]
