Night, in Fragments

To you, who once drove me wild

Looking back now, I’m surprised to realize that when we were together, it was always at night.

I think you once said that at night, you could finally be yourself.

In your studio, in my duty room, by the river, on the pedestrian overpass, on the streets in the dead of winter, in a KFC on a summer night: no matter how brightly lit the place was, it was always at night.
