The Fifth Princess of My Fair Princess

A mute descendant of the Aisin Gioro clan becomes the Fifth Princess, the most rule-abiding daughter of Empress Nala, who is herself the most rule-abiding empress of Emperor Qianlong's court. Her plan for life is to grow up quietly, spend her days with her consort, and, ideally, have a lively, adorable little bundle of joy. But that doesn't mean she will let anyone bully her empress mother or her brothers and sisters. Nor does it mean she will let her imperial father be deceived and used at someone else's whim! This story mainly takes aim at Ling Fei and the Fu family. Qianlong won't be put through angst; Yongqi and Xiaoyanzi get a little, while Ziwei gets a lot. If you want to read about them being thoroughly tormented, please look elsewhere. The story also incorporates plotlines from Plum Blossom Scar and New Moon Princess, with no mercy shown to the idiotic characters in those plots. Also: Although Anye has researched Qing court history extensively, the original setting of QYNN means that many details inevitably won't match the historical record. Anye will explain them in detail in the author's notes. Historical accuracy buffs are welcome to offer suggestions, and Anye will do her best to improve things. But please forgive me if something really can't be changed. Dear readers, after discussing it with my editor, Anye has decided to start charging for this story on April 7, 2011. Three chapters will be updated that day. As usual, updates won't stop beforehand. If anyone leaves Anye because of this, I hope to see you again in Anye's next story. Thank you.
