The Butterfly Painting of Prince Teng

This is my first historical story. By chance, I photoshopped the picture beside this text, purely out of personal interest. At first, I wanted to write a story about Li Yuanying. Since Li Jiancheng had a second son, I wanted to write about Li Yuanying, who was very much like Li Jiancheng, and use the existence of such a person to give Li Shimin a hard time. Then came the historical research. But while researching, I found that many unofficial histories claimed Li Yuanying was not Li Yuan's son. So IVAN let their imagination run wild, in defiance of history: perhaps he was the grandson of Li Jiancheng's son who had escaped. Whether descended from Li Shimin or Li Jiancheng, he could never escape the struggle for power at court. Only as Li Yuan's youngest son would he actually be safe. And so, out of personal interest, this story came to be. Then I thought I had come up with something completely outrageous. But after discussing it with a friend who studies history, they said that unofficial histories really do record an idea like mine = = So all I can say is, do we all think alike...? Still, this made me a little nervous, though it also gave me the courage to write it... because history is the most over-the-top drama of all~!
