Lin Jiamu has known Cheng Anye since high school. He's her little sun, and everyone else's, too.
From their school days to the long years of secretly loving him as they enter the working world, Lin Jiamu keeps her feelings hidden and tries to keep up with him.
At last, one day, she finds the courage.
"Cheng Anye, I don't want to be your friend anymore."
"What? Are you trying to end our friendship?"
"Are you an idiot?"
"You're the idiot."
Cheng Anye ruffles Lin Jiamu's short hair until it looks like a bird's nest, then cups her face and meets her gaze. "Tell me what you really feel."
Lin Jiamu turns her face aside, losing her nerve again, and says the opposite of what she means: "I want to end our friendship!"
Cheng Anye furrows his brow, thinks for a moment, then moves closer and plants a light kiss on her cheek.
Lin Jiamu stares up at him in shock. Before she can speak, this fox of a man kisses her lips, a fleeting brush.
Cheng Anye smiles. "Lin Jiamu, you coward."
"Let's stop being friends."
"Be my girlfriend."
"Do you dare?"
Theme: Mountains have their peaks, and lakes have their shores. Along the long journey of life, everything can turn around. When life tastes bitter, please believe that sweetness will come in the end.
