The day the Changqing Sect was wiped out, Luo Daoying lost everything. Crawling out from beneath a heap of corpses, she accidentally awakened Hua Hanyan, the former leader of the demonic cult, who had been asleep for seventeen years.
This peerless demon, once pierced through the heart by the Mo Jun Sword, has only a tenth of her cultivation after being revived. She spouts nothing but lies, yet her imposing presence remains undiminished, and she immediately demands that Luo Daoying become the demonic cult's Holy Maiden.
Meanwhile, Luo Daoying is gathering the pieces of the Mo Jun Sword. In a way she cannot understand, the sword is turning her hatred into a force that can sweep everything away.
Deep within the Orthodox Alliance, newly ascended Immortal Venerable Bai Ningwei quietly watches as Luo Daoying stirs up a storm in the East Sea.
